In October 2003, Mancuso was elected Sheriff of Calcasieu Parish he assumed Mancuso was elected as Ward 3 City Marshal in 1996 and re-elected in 2002, for his second term. During his early career at the Sheriff’s Office, he was assigned to several divisions including Corrections, Patrol, and Sheriff Mancuso began his career with the Sheriff’s Office in 1984. Calcasieu Parish Sheriff Tony Mancuso has announced the he will not be seeking re-election in fall 2023.
