We've taken that into account when adjusting our Crowd Calendar. With so many locals at Disneyland, who have a bigger influence on crowds than at Disney World, we knew crowds would return to Disneyland after its reopening - and boy, did they ever! We will talk more below about Magic Key holders and how they influence crowds. While we do have years of experience and data collection under our belt, there are many more factors at play that put us in new territory when making our predictions. We'd be toadally remiss if we didn't talk about the biggest changes coming out of the pandemic - and that's the theme park reservation system. The 100th Anniversary celebration for the Disney Company will kick off on January 27th, 2023in Disneyland Resort, so it’s possible Disney is preparing for some things ahead of that date. They simply noted that it was paused in a larger post sharing details about the 100th Anniversary. We’ll be on the lookout for updates.ĭisney has not specified why this pause was put in place.
